Throughout the years the technology we use has become easier for us to us and therefore making the web more accessible to the public. Before the internet was established people would be more productive searching for the information manually and now Nicholas tries to insinuate that people have become in a sense lazy. The development of the web was made for us to use it properly and for our daily needs yet it is because of how we misuse the internet. People use the web to simply post unnecessary things or try to take advantage of it. The web has revolutionized the way we interact with each other. Instead of our brain containing the information we have learned we pass it onto the computers. We now rely more on the machines than we do on ourselves in order to learn, is the statement that Nicholas is trying to make when he gives example of studies that have been made.
